The S'more gets pegged with August 10th as it's National day of celebration. This iconic treat was named simply from the elated response of the person who is consuming it, that is to say "I want 'some more'". Dating all the way back to 1927, the Girl Scouts include it in the Tramping and Trailing guide book.
If it's not already obvious from the image above, the S'more is concocted of chocolate and marshmallow melted between two graham crackers.
